Biography
Ray East was employed as Art Director and Chief Photographer for NBC and its affiliate, WRC-TV in Washington. East has photographed many of the nation's top leaders, media personalities, and famous models, among which include President Reagan, Henry Kissinger, Tom Brokaw, Bryant Gumbel, Jane Pauley, Jim Vance, Lea Thompson, Bob Hope, and Morgan Fairchild. He has been awarded an Emmy in recognition for his outstanding work in television. East also worked for many of Washington's top modeling agencies as a commercial and fashion photographer, specializing in model portfolio development and headshots. His work has appeared on the Today Show, NBC Nightly News, and many other news shows and specials, and his photography clients have included ABC Radio, Digital Domain, Metro Traffic Reports, WMAL Radio in Washington, and the Department of the Navy. East has also been published in a number of leading national magazines. For many years he photographed many of the East Coast's leading actors and models. While semi-retired, his current projects include a venture through NBC which will feature his work of their news personalities in their studio and the development of album covers for recording artists.

Although he has since retired from the television and agency industries, East is still available for a limited number of assignments, including commercial work and some portfolio development for serious select models.

Ray now resides in Charlottesville, VA with his wife Caroline and his dog Samson.
